MBBS Programs
Manipal College of Medical Sciences offers a four-and-a-half-year MBBS degree program encompassing preclinical and selected clinical subjects. The program is structured into nine semesters, each lasting six months. Upon fulfilling the course requirements, students must undergo a compulsory one-year residential rotating internship. English serves as the medium of instruction.
Over the years, around 1700 students have successfully graduated from MOCMS. A significant proportion of these graduates have achieved remarkable scores in qualifying exams like USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK), ERPM (Sri Lanka), and AMC (Australia). In the initial two years of the program, Manipal College of Medical Sciences covers integrated Preclinical Sciences, Community Medicine, Introduction to Clinical Medicine, and Medical Informatics. The Preclinical Sciences curriculum comprises Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Physiology. These subjects are taught in an interconnected manner and are integrated into Community Medicine and Introduction to Clinical Medicine, enabling students to develop clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Due to the campus being spread across multiple locations, the library facilities have been duplicated to ensure easy access for all students.

The Deep Campus Library spans 2061 sq ft, with a 1936 sq ft reading hall. It can comfortably accommodate 200 students, faculty, and users simultaneously. On the other hand, the MTH library can host 150 users at a time.
